Let's reflect on the humanistic character that science must possess

in #science6 years ago

The sciences, in their investigative character, have in many aspects turned their back on some humanistic considerations in their most strengthened findings. Therefore, the evolution of science has intrinsically had the need to generate certain considerations that are updated in the curricular diversity of its branches of studies. This update should cover the broader senses in the teachings of science until reaching the intentionality of each aspect in which science intends to contribute with its discoveries and contributions to humanity.

This innovative character that in my opinion makes a new direction to science where it is considered a scientific humanism, where the contribution to humanity is with real sustainability characteristics, where our peoples are benefited for a future full of food, with deficiencies of contamination and a more viable life prototype. For this it is necessary to propagate an integration between the scientific communities in which they are oriented to work in an interdisciplinary way, and whose scientific study is more oriented to nature as a means provider of exhausted resources, but which are indispensable for life. This interdisciplinary way of scientific communities has to encompass scientific processes that are traditional within science, but at the same time so necessary to change the course towards a scientific humanism, these are:

  • Conceptualization: There are many contributions that science has made through scientists of antiquity and the contemporary era, but with all this it is necessary to conceptualize new models, to renew new conceptions, among this new form to see science is the fact of being able to humanize it, where the conceptualized ideas of all those who think of this nature are approached with fresh and new ideas, with the characteristics of the new times.

  • Research: This is a classic process of science, all postulated or enunciated within the natural sciences or outside it must have a scientific demonstration, for this it is necessary to use a series of criteria within the process of to be able to investigate later to be able to demonstrate, in the cases of having to humanize the science I also believe I should investigate the reasons under which science should be humanized, for this we only need to go back in scientific history and analyze some errors that gave some scientific contributions that did not give favorable results to the way of life of the human being, if we take into account those antecedents and evaluate them with essence investigates, surely we adapt to the science to a new humanized scientific sense.

  • Creation: Every project can not be written papers that say "what could be and was not", the part of receiving the new pact called humanized science has to start from the creation of fixed arguments to generate science whose contributions go in benefit for public health, new and advanced forms of communication taking into account the preservation of the environment, that is why I invite all of us to participate in the new form of create humanized science.

These processes that science has kept throughout its form of creation and generation of scientific knowledge must be maintained and adapted to make way for scientific humanism, where you can develop a creative potential for an integral education where science and technology do not work independently to the needs of today's society.

The scientific participation of the communities is an essential part in the construction of scientific humanism, since they are the communities that will make known the needs of their locality, and later with the help of science to make known their possible solutions.

"Hope for a better world, where good living, the common good and sustainable development are a common place for all the inhabitants of the planet, is possible in the way we can build the long-awaited scientific humanism ".
