What if the Past Has Already Been Changed?

in #science10 years ago

That's widely known that if the time travel was possible and if some event in the past was changed it would lead to some irreversible changes in the present. That is called information paradox in the general relativity theory. Took the hint?

What if time travel machines were already constructed in the future and somebody decided to fix their problems in the past - in our past. That means that the whole universe could have been transmuted as a result of this small fix and your not being so popular on Steemit could be a result of a whale not noticing your first post while speaking to some good looking girl who actually did that fix and became a model. Kidding.

Still, how are you going to live with this knowledge? And why do I know the relativity theory?

Sort:

Reminds me of the classic quote from Douglas Adams

“There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.”

Their is a great Orson Scott Card book on this called pastwatch. Columbus voyage was viewed as the defining point of history.

Immediately had the same thought!

Nope. Just nope. Why do this to my little brain? Also whales never notice me regardless of the effort or quality of work. My last post shown me that! Great and slightly funny post :P Albert staring into my soul is always scary!

Do we really want to open that can of worms. Knowing the future may be destructive. Let the path of life take you where you are suppose to be. Just a thought

Still, what if the can of worms has already been opened and the normal time flow has been transmuted?
