📖 Matt 5:14-16
â›…Jesus said for as long as he is in the world, he is the light of the world. Meaning that for as long as there are people who know him in the world and carry his influence, he will always be the light to the darkness of the world.
â›…In our focal scripture, he emphatically says to us "you are the light of the world" many of us have read this verse over and again but let's put it in perspective to our daily lives. It means that we are agents of enlighten, we bring illumination and and life to wherever we are. It means we are people of impact.
â›…It means we cannot blend with the ways of the world, we must be beacons of hope modelling the life of Christ and bringing men to the knowledge of God. Every believer on earth is God's agent of change,transformation, influence and impact to the world. Keep this at the back of your mind, you are a believer on purpose not just saved for fun. You are the light of the world.

Hmmm thanks for this message, we are truly the light of the world in representation of our lord Jesus Christ and so we should always try to act like it. A helpful hint in trying times is to ask yourself, what would Jesus do (WWJD)?
