a log of what I worked on scrobble.life today
- firefox build + AMO prep + homepage three-button install row
(the numbers show the amount of times each have been clicked)

- loogbook UX, being able to click open the days of scrobbles to show them + it showing if you have songs in common with other scrobblers and a dropdown as to which

- a fix to the snaps/comment container that was affecting some users, now you can comment and place timed comments that'll go directly onto the latest snap container (ps. it can also fetch snaps and place them under the correct songs if you simply snap a comment and song link through @peakd, as long as you're already registered with scrobble.life)

pruned some rpc nodes that weren't running (arcange/anyx/etc) to avoid the scrobbler not being able to write an op, created a queue system in case issues occur with some of the current ones
some other minor tweaks and fixes

Almost 700 songs scrobbled with ~450 unique songs and 11 unique hive accounts logged! Not bad after the announcement! (although a lot of test scrobbles were left and not deleted before announcement)
Have you given it a try yet?

Hi, I'd like to try it, but I'd like it to install right away without downloading any files because honestly I don't know anything about opening files, installing, or anything like that. I use Chrome and Firefox.

Web extension would work best for you then I guess.

Money on the dash is good.
Also biggest thing I think to fix is youtube not recognizing music properly(it's got the wrong song decently often).
snaps and containers gotta be annoying to handle!
I think that being able to share popular songs with other users will improve the sense of community.
Great updates, Firefox builds and extensions are progressing very quickly. Hopefully the app will work faster now that dead RPC nodes have been removed. Best wishes for this great project.
looks real cool. i joined. 😎✌️
did you? :D
did you install the extension though? that's what logs your listening history!
ok, i tried to click on the chrome extension and it downloaded .zip, i extracted but then nothing happens. is there some file I need to open now?
in the extension page on chrome you have to enable "developer mode", then click on "load unpacked" and pick the extracted folder.
ok, ext loaded, and seems to be working on spotify
but I couldn't get anything to play. I checked the ext and got this error when trying to connect..
I disabled the ext, refreshed spotify and then the music can play. maybe my laptop just sux.
this makes my life more easy and close to hive.
acidyo presidente!
