El Viejo y el Mar/The Old Man and the Sea.

La inmensidad del mar, la destreza del hombre por tratar de dominarla, y los navíos que nos transportan en ese mundo acuático, todos estos hacen el complemento perfecto. Cuando el mar se convierte en tu forma de vida, en tu segunda casa, en tu forma de supervivencia, y lo es todo. Cuando lo ves desde fuera no lo sientes, pero realmente ver más allá de lo evidente, es ahí, cuando le das el valor real de lo que adquieres del mar, de ese mundo mágico.

Les cuento, que la foto ante ustedes presentada fue tomada en el mar de Ancón, en Perú, en febrero de 2020, un mes antes de que mi país cerrara sus puertas y nos confinemos; pero que en otros países del mundo ya se veía la gravedad de la crisis, pero que en nuestro caso, muchos lo creíamos lejano. Y por ende disfrutábamos de la vida, pero creo pocos en reflexión.

Greetings community.

The immensity of the sea, the skill of man to try to dominate it, and the ships that transport us in that aquatic world; all of these make the perfect complement. When the sea becomes your way of life, your second home, your way of survival, and it is everything. When you see it from the outside, you don't feel it; but really seeing beyond the obvious is there, when you give it the real value of what you acquire from the sea, from that magical world.

I tell you that the photo presented was taken in the Ancón sea, in Peru, in February 2020, a month before my country closed its doors and we were confined; but that in other countries of the world the gravity of the crisis was already seen, but that in our case, many of us believed it was far away. And therefore, we lived life on the edge, but I think few in reflection.
