'You Light Up My Life.'
This is my entry for SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST • WEEK 82 • organized by @marc-allaria This weeks theme is FREE.
A Pandanas Palm Tree stands in the direct path of the setting sun. The golden glow creates clear silhouettes of this palm tree and it was a mesmerizing sight.
The distinctive Pandanas plant is a species from the Pandanaceae family and I native to Polynesia, Australia, South Asia and the Philippines but is also found in India and Burma. Their botanical name is, Pandanas Odorifer but is commonly called Screw-Pine.

They are characterized by their small branches, and palm-like leaves which grow in clusters at the tips of the branches. Fragrant flowers bloom in summer and are used as perfumes which is similar to the fragrance of roses.
They are harvested early in the morning as their fragrance dissipates once opened. Pandanas plants thrive in rain forests but also along the coast as they are very hardy and some species are valued because their fruit is edible and the leaves can be used for platting.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
Thanks @pixresteemer. 💐
This looks like a giant with fuzzy hair by the sea! The lockdown means he could not have his hair cut!
