Spring is right around the corner but someone better tell Ole Man Winter. He doesn’t want to relinquish his reign and let the Goddess Of Spring spread her warmth and magic around.
To say good bye to winter properly, I dug through my arsenal of photos of all the snow.
I took this one after an ice storm that bend the birches down near the driveway. Thankfully they rebounded and are still standing tall.
A raven checks out the snow situation from atop the tree in the backyard.
Not so much snow but tree branches are covered with ice.
The Blue Jay is knee-deep in the snow on the back deck.
Can you even see the bird? He seems to blend in.
Winter is okay as long as it doesn’t get too cold.
There’s lots of winter sports. Hubby is taking a snowshoe hike on a beautiful winter day.
Spring does not officially open until the 20th of March here.
A sign of Spring springing forward is the Blue Jay happy to see most of the snow gone and the sun shining.

Love that blue jay basking in the sun!! And all that wicked white stuff is just breathtaking. I especially love the ice branches. That looks so cool. I'm sure the pictures do no justice.
