HOW TO RUIN A GOOD TUNE

The title refers to a comment left on this video by a loyal subscriber. I'm not at all offended by the comment:

How to ruin a good tune! Sorry, but this version of the Sussex Carol completely misses the folk style & celebratory mode of the original. Definitely one to avoid.

It actually makes a great new video title. I'm finding that simply naming videos by what they actually are isn't necessarily going to necessitate a conversion. So why not make it slightly controversial?

These works were published by Wayne Leupold Editions (https://www.wayneleupold.com/), in The Organist's Companion Volume 40, No. 1 (November 2017) (WL620075).

This was recorded on the organ of the St. Etienne Abbey in Caen (Sonus Paradisi) using the Hauptwerk VPO software.
