Offertoire - Dandrieu | Secrets of Organ Playing Contest Week 84

This is my entry for the Secrets of Organ Playing Contest Week 84. I’m playing an Offertoire by Dandrieu on the St. Pons, Micot sample set by Sonus Paradisi.

We start with a Grave section, alternating between the Grand jeu and Positif before an energetic movement marked Marque (where all the excitement happens!). The French classical school of organ music is dominated by the likes of Couperin and Clerambeault so I hope you enjoy this work by Dandrieu.

Good to hear one of the lesser heard Offertoires of Dandrieu.

Thanks!

Thanks for your entry! I played it 3 times.
