Secrets Of Organ Playing week 113 | Vierne

For this week's entry I am working on the 2nd piece in the 24 Pièces En Style Libre by Louis Vierne. This 2nd piece is entitled Cortège (meaning procession) in french. This piece has a regal pricession sound to it conplete with Vierne's twist. I have attempted my best to recreate tge classic Vierne sound with this organ. I am using a 16' flute in the Great, as that is all i have on this instrument. But, the addition balances the 1' in the swell to recreate the mixture. The mixture on this organ is a toe stud and is quite bright, so I use it sparingly.
