Secrets of Organ Playing Contest Week 141 Submission--Chorale Prelude on Herr Jesu Christ, ich weiss gar wohl by Dieterich Buxtehude

Today's piece is the Chorale Prelude by Dieterich Buxtehude on Lord Jesu, I know very well. The chorale tune is played in long notes in the upper most voice on the Swell (Gedeckt 8', Fugara 4', Flute 2', Plein Jeu) over a three voice accompaniment that incorporates a variety of contrapuntal techniques (Bourdon 8' and Nachthorn 4' on the Great and Subbass 16' and Bourdon 8' in the pedals). I hope you enjoy it.

I love the polyphony in this piece.
