DigiCert has acquired Symantec’s SSL business.
Google (and other vendors) to retire the Trusted Root of these certificates.
Chrome 66: (expected in mid-April 2018) all certs issued prior to June 1st, 2016 will not be accepted.
Chrome 70: (expected late Oct 2018) all certs.
