I'm really sorry for all those involved.
I noticed that Steemit changed the transfer dialog since a while, so you must check your entries twice.
Would be also nice if they implement 2FA (Two Factor Auth) in the near future.
Unfortunately I didn't make the transfer via the steemit wallet. That would've actually prevent me from doing the mistake... I used https://smartsteem.com/buy and accidentally put the key into the first field where the link to my article should've been pasted.
It'd be great to implement a bot that stops @sami100's bot - indeed!
