That's good to know, but there's little the public can do about it. Most people can't buy a new computer and even then, who knows when a fixed CPU will be released. If it's anything like the original Spectre, it's many months just to get the CPU released, let alone integrated into new computers. I guess the only thing we all can do is keep everything patched. And even that is often too difficult a task.
