v 10.19.0
I have to install a new distro, because I need to lose systemd, and when I built this box and installed Ubuntu in 2020 I had never even used Linux before. For some reason when I update&&upgrade I get problems because the drive partition that stores kernels is too small at ~500mb. I've suffered that issue long enough and it's time to update my hardware anyway. I need a new MB and HD (new to me). Got any crap laying around you'd sell reasonably? 550 or better MB and at least a T of space on a drive of any type, so I can back up my data instead of losing all my dank memes when I inevitably screw up transitioning from Ubuntu to a freedom friendly distro like Devuan or Lunduke.
You can use nvm to install any version of node easily.
I'm confident you're right, but what I really need is a new AM4 board and drive. I have cold, hard Hive burning a hole in my pocket. Also, what is NVM?
node version manager
https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm
Install it, then
nvm install 25
and it will install the latest version of node 25.
Now using node v25.9.0 (npm v11.12.1)

So, I'm golden amirite?
