While this took longer than I'd have liked(blame Unitas Global for failure at every step of the way, and praise Hurricane Electric for getting us everything needed to get a circuit going in under 5 hours, excluding the datacenter running the cross connect), it's finally here. The host machine is running a 7950X3D with 64gigs of ECC DDR5 RAM(soon to be 128 GB as soon as I can find a ram supplier who's shipments to the DC don't get lost) and it's connected to the internet with a 1G port(capable of 2.5G, but will soon be 10G once an Amazon order arrives).
Sometime next week I plan on setting up the clone of https://snapshots.hive.blog/snapshots/latest/ from BT and team.
Not much else to this post. Just wanted to let you guys know it is ready.

Update: I’ve tried live syncing this node 3 times and each time it forks off around the end of 2022. Luckily it only takes like a 12ish hours to get there, so not too much time wasted, but enough. I’m trying to grab a block log now and replay and hope that works.
Another update, this node setup is having problems every step of the way. Going to try and redo it from scratch.
From scratch failed hard too... This is getting embarassing.
Think I finally figured out what's wrong with help from GTG. Lets hope this gets going tomorrow 🤞
