I am hurriedly putting this post together before we lose power. The winds have been extremely fierce all day and now with the heavy wet snow, it'll be no time until old trees and branches start coming down, and we all know what happens after that...
Got some water bottles ready, our water runs off of an electric pump so when the power goes out...we got no water.
Got the bathtub filled so we have water to flush our toilet with. Living in the boonies has its drawbacks haha, but I wouldn't trade this for city life, not a chance!
Got the buns made for the next couple of days.

The kids have sure had one messy Spring Break so far...
I am positively unimpressed...
All in all it can be kind of pretty.

I've been out all morning removing as much of the first wave of snow as possible while the next wave comes down! Nova Scotia needs to stop sending your snow to New Brunswick - we've got enough already (lol). Hope you are warm and power is restored where you are!!

They are all snuggled in for the night now, their body heat keeps them plenty warm with over 30 of them in there <3 <3 xo It is crazy how fragile the grids are, I can't wait until we are totally off grid one day!

Looks like you are prepped up pretty good 👍🏻👍🏻 The people in the city freak out when their power is out for an hour or two, but country folks, they know how to handle it and rough it for a bit. I would much rather fix outages out of town than in town. People in town get pretty grumpy in a short period of time. The out of town, country people are so much more kind and thankful for the hard work a Lineman does to get their power on.
