There are no internet restrictions in Indonesia in general and the Aceh region in particular
To welcome #newsteem, through the Contest organized by @upmewhale, I want to participate with an explanation that I know of, about no internet restrictions in my country Indonesia, for all Indonesian people, especially Aceh
before I start writing a few things about the problem of restrictions or unlimited, the use of the internet network, I will explain, in some order of explanation, and the internet network in the village namely
a. Internet Network Provider
b. there are no internet restrictions
c. there are internet restrictions
d. Internet network in the village
let's we all see and read, the explanation that I will convey below:
Internet Network Provider
The first thing I want to explain in this matter is, the service provider, here has now become one of the internet service providers, such as:
- Telkom
- Telkomsel
- and others
as you can see in the picture that I show here, not just relying on a place, but having other facilities, such as cars, are used to serve the public, so that they can use the internet, by buying several network access quotas, can already have an internet network, which is located on a cellphone or something. You can see the picture below.
in the picture above, you all can also see, the antennas they use, some have a frequency of 2.4 Mhz and 5.8 Frequencies or other permitted frequencies, it is one of the transmitters that we will receive through the devices we have, without that device, maybe we don't get internet network at all, wherever we are.
transmitters which we often call antennas, have distance and transmit limits, according to the coordinates of each "I know" you can see it in the picture below, to more clearly see the antenna owned by internet service providers.
the device that I mean is a device that is round just above the antenna "small and large round" antenna that divides the network to all corners of the city and the area, which can be reached, by many people.
for people who are far from the city, starting from the antenna above, there will be another tower provided, so that it can be wider internet coverage, you can see below. other types of poles and antennas.
from this second antenna, you can see, need another device, in order to be able to share the transmit power of the internet network to the remote villages, you can see the picture below again.
all of you can see, the antenna they use, does not have a big size anymore, because the main antenna, which must have a large size, so that the transmit power is wider and farther.
from the explanation above, it has been proven that, internet networks are really needed by the community, according to the interests and uses needed by the community.
There are no restrictions on using the internet network
all of you have read and seen what I have described above, that Indonesia is a developed country, a country that is always paying attention, all the interests and needs of many people, this internet problem, there are laws that regulate everything, issues regarding the use of the internet network , through the ministry of communication and information and cooperation between the Jakarta central government and other regional governments, throughout the Indonesian homeland.
all information and news, all we can access, through the internet network, through the local government, I take for example the Lhokseumawe city area, where I live, and internet network access.
through the Aceh government, in Lhokseumawe, has more than 5000 internet access points, which are spread throughout the city and village centers, for example:
- public places
- home
- complex
- company
- office
- coffee shop
for example in the picture as below.
Apart from what I mentioned above, why I say in my country there are no restrictions on using the internet. in the park or children's playground, also has internet access, which is called a digital park. with free and unlimited use, then the entire Indonesian community - Aceh, very happy and never felt difficulties, in accessing the internet network. "According to the needs and usefulness "
in getting this internet access network, has some criteria in using it, and not all of them are free, of course they have to pay rent.

- payment per month
- annual fees "only for companies and offices"
- free internet access "a special place for people
- free internet access "specifically urban and rural communities"
Likewise in accessing the Steemit website network, com, until now, me and my friends in Aceh, we can still access steemit.com, wherever we are, as long as we are connected to the internet, for example using:
- laptop
- computer
- handphone
This social media networking website, still receives special attention from the public and does not yet have obstacles that cannot be accessed or restricted by the Indonesian government, or by Steemit players. com, because here the public is very aware, Steemit.com can show for example:
- Photography of all kinds
- artwork of all kinds
- cultural works
- written works
- and others that are popular
with this social media, has helped the community, to get the opportunity to work at home or outside the home, looking for posting material, with the results to be paid with SBD and STEEM and Other Coins, which can be used, finance the family and Power Up steem, every month to respective accounts.
Stages of restrictions on the use of internet networks
in this explanation, I deliberately explain separately, with the points above, so that all of you, understand what I'm saying here.
in accessing websites or video sites, the government also never limits the color of the country, to browse websites, except websites that can damage the morale and growth of the mind of a minor, adapted to age restrictions, or are blocked from being accessible. e.g. "
- pornographic websites
- porn video websites
- fake websites
- and other related websites I mentioned above
The problem at the point above, also has a special program supported by human resources, who have expertise in this field, have blocked the site, or the user's IP, using a particular system.
Internet network in the village
my experience, in the village where I live, I also already have an internet network, which I can access and use as much as I can, as I explained above, the network that I access, is still in the category, there are no restrictions, except for the sites I describe at the point of "Automatically blocked" even though to get an internet network in the village, I have to use a special LiteBeam antenna 5.8 Mhz, with a height of 15 meters, in order to reach the paid internet network, which is directed to my house, from a private service provider in the middle of the village and the city, because not all remote villages can receive internet network well.
that is the short story that I convey and accompanied by some pictures that I took with my camera, that Indonesia as a developed country, has never restricted the internet, to be used by all Indonesian people, wherever they are, for a good need, for the sake of their society
