I believe it's all about sensibility. In general I'm not all for it, but it's clear when it's done in abusive manner. However selfvoting a quality post, not comment, once a day or so is not a problem for me personally. I don't restraint from voting in this case if I believe this is content adding net value to the ecosystem.
I don't do selfvoting though, having in my mind some stakeholders might be more radical in this regard.

I've made up my mind a while ago that I don't intend to bend to radicals here. I'm not going to pick any fights either.
