Meeting a killer before they kill... it's a fascinating premise. I haven't actually done that, but I did cross paths with a gunman (not yet carrying his gun) the day before he shot several police a few buildings down from where I live. I knew there was something wrong with him, to the point that I made a mental note, but I didn't anticipate anything like what he ended up doing.
