I've had couple good convos in Tinder, but that's pretty much it. I can recognize that it is a sort of skill to weed the bad seeds, but that is not a skill I see worth to do in Tinder atm.

Close friends are rare, that's why Steem is such a magical place with a concentration of likeable people that is off the charts; you go to Steemfest, and it's never been so easy to make friends. Happens literally nowhere else in the world. We Steem veterans are gonna be sad folks when masses start flowing here. We need to make our own community for OG Steemians when that happens.
This is low key why I don’t even want mass adoption, it takes a special kind of human to be here and to stay active through it all. The odds of finding life long friends here are massively greater than in somewhere like Instagram or Tinder. The only problem for us here is that we don’t have many Finns here so we can’t actually find many people we could hang out with in real life. Really looking forward to our meet on Saturday!
Yup, but wider adoption is the end goal for Steem, Communities and SMTs will be a step toward that. It'll also bring value to Steem so I still hope it happens.
