The new Imefi found the music too alien for them to understand, but they had felt the emoting and it made the song beautiful for them. The big surprise was the Shipmaster. He cannot sense emoting and yet he found the song just as beautiful as everyone else and told us he’s recorded it so that the children of the Imefi down the generations to come can use it to see how beautiful and vibrant the life of their tiny galaxy is.

Robbie arranged for a party to start six hours later and discretely let lib-Robert know they should come as the party is in honour of their Wendy. I bet he was cheesed off at being interrupted at such a precious time, but they arrived as requested, radiating their love for each other.

Robbie kept his word and confirmed that the music was like nothing he’d ever heard before, so it must have originated from her. Flushing at his praise she was quickly pulled into the arms of our Wendy and Candy. After that, there was no way the party could be a failure; there was just too much happiness and love being broadcast for that to happen.

Robert said to Robbie, “I think the first person we bring here should be Marian. She has been such an amazing friend and so understanding of the needs that drive Cherine and I.”

Robbie chuckled. “I am also eager to meet her. I agree that she is an amazing Marian - wouldn’t you say so Marian?”

“All Marians are, where do you think our Cherines get their fine qualities from?” Robbie laughed and surprised her by swiftly pulling her into a hug.
