Is it just me or have these first two weeks of the NFL season flown by?
Thoughts about Week 2:
- The NFC looks pretty crappy. The Cardinals and Rams look mediocre, the 49ers look downright awful, and even the Seahawks look suspect.
- Kareem Hunt is the leader for Rookie of the Year in my book.
- The Patriots look to be back to their normal self.
- The AFC West is insanely talented. The Broncos, Chiefs, and Raiders all look like Playoff teams early on and even the Chargers aren't too bad even though they are 0-2.
- Maybe the Buccaneers will actually be decent this year!

Harambes Revenge @kryptocek (1-1) vs @paradise-found (1-1)
This matchup features two 1-1 teams that are both loaded. Harambes Revenge @kryptocek (1-1) got an impressive effort for Javorius Allen in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns. A side note - Javorius "Buck" Allen is from my hometown and is loved by the locals. The Jaguars run defense has looked a little shaky this year giving up 136 yards per game so look for Buck Allen to have another nice day on the ground. Tyler Eifert is listed as questionable this week, but I fully expect him to play although his fantasy output may be limited this week. If Tevin Coleman and Tyreek Hill have impressive weeks look for Harambes Revenge @kryptocek to steal the win. The dynamic duo that @paradise-found has at running back is an unstoppable force it feels like. Le'Veon Bell and Kareem Hunt are each expected to score 20 points this week. With Julian Edelman out for most likely the entire season, Chris Hogan has stepped up his game for the Patriots. The Texans pass defense is one of the best in the league, but I have a feeling Hogan has a big day. If the veteran wide receiver core for @paradise-found has a good week, look for him to come out victorious.

Rico's Raiders @richq11 (0-2) vs @sevinwilson (2-0)
Although both of the teams had less than stellar performances in Week 2, Rico's Raiders @richq11 lost his matchup while @sevinwilson snuck out a victory. Rico's Raiders @richq11 looks to get his first win of the season and needs a strong game from RB Devonta Freeman. The Falcons play the tough Detriot Lions front 7, but if there is a back in this league that can have success against a good rush defense I think it Devonta Freeman with his ability to catch out of the backfield. The major question mark this week for Rico's Raiders @richq11 is Demaryius Thomas who is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. If this injury holds back Demaryius Thomas, Demaryius Thomas, Rico's Raiders @richq11 needs increased output from his receivers and TE, Austin Hooper. @sevinwilson is starting Rishard Matthews at WR for the first time this year after two unproductive weeks from Jets WR ArDarius Stewart. Todd Gurley has had two impressive weeks this year against two solid run defenses in the Colts and the Redskins, so lets see if he can continue his hot streak on the ground. The X-factor in this matchup is Alex Smith for Rico's Raiders @richq11. If he puts up a similar output as he did Week 1 against the Patriots look for Rico's Raiders @richq11 to sneak out a win.

@mikeshuh (2-0) vs Nic Nasty @nicnas (1-1)
This matchup features two of the best quarterbacks this game has seen in Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. @mikeshuh has arguably the most talented roster in the league and I am expecting him to make a deep run this year. Chris Thompson, running back for the Redskins, and C.J. Anderson, running back for the Broncos, both scored over 25 points in Week 2. If these guys have similar totals in Week 2, look out! AJ Green has been one of the most talented receiver in the NFL since he entered the league 7 years ago, but the Bengals have struggled him the ball consistently this year as he has only 10 receptions on the year. Look for A.J. Green to get in the endzone this week against the Raiders. Nic Nasty @nicnas (1-1) is probably wondering if Ezekiel Elliot got on the plane this week to Arizona, because he didn't come to play last week against the Broncos after his 8 yard performance on 9 carries. Look for Zeke to bounce back against the Cardinals this week. With as talented as Nic Nasty @nicnas (1-1) running back group is, they put him in bad situation in Week 2. Nic Nasty @nicnas (1-1) needs big weeks from Isaiah Crowell and Shane Vereen in order to pull out the weekly win. Going deep into the roster and saying Tyrell Williams has a big week for Nic Nasty @nicnas (1-1) and the Chargers, but that @mikeshuh comes out victorious.

Gators @tom74 (0-2) vs Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough (1-1)
If there was a second place vote for game of the week this matchup would have gotten it as this matchup is going down to the wire. With Trevor Siemian getting the start in Week 3 after two consecutive solid weeks, Gators @tom74 has benched Matt Ryan. Who would have thought Trevor Siemian would have produced more than Matt Ryan through the first two weeks of the year? Definitely not me. If Jay Ajayi can have a big week against the lowly Jets, look for Gators @tom74 to squeak out a win in Week 3. Ajayi did not practice on Wednesday, but I fully expect him to play this week. It appears that Adrian Peterson has passed him prime, but don't let him hear that. It doesn't look like it will get any easier this week for Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough as Adrian Peterson and his Saints travel to Carolina and their tough run defense. Early in the week, reports surfaced about Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough looking for a true RB1 as none of his running backs have produced much this year. On the other hand, he is completely loaded at receiver with Michael Crabtree, Odell Beckham Jr., and Emmanuel Sanders. If these guys continue to produce he may be able to get by without a RB1. If Gators @tom74 running backs have a bigger week than Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough wide receivers look for Gators @tom74 to pull out the win. Otherwise, look for Jupiter Explosion @breakthrough to come out with the win.

A team has no name @boatsports90 (2-0) vs Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 (1-1)
This is a big week for both of the teams who have trios of excellent running backs. A team has no name @boatsports90 had one of the best weeks from the trio of running back that one could ask for last week. The Chargers, Titans, and Packers all face defenses that are ranked 20th or worse in run defense and this bodes well for A team has no name @boatsports90's backers Melvin Gordon (Chargers), Derrick Henry (Titans), and Ty Montgomery (Packers). If these three have a similar week to their performances in Week 2... Watch out! The trio of running backs for Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 has a slightly tougher slate this week as Mike Gillislee and the Patriots play the Texans, Marshawn Lynch and Raiders battle the Redskins, and DeMarco Murray and the Titans face off against the Seahawks. Look for Golden Tate to have a big week for the Lions after he owned a fan on Twitter complaining about Tate's Fantasy Football output against the Giants. Maybe life isn't all about Fantasy Football. The X-factor in this game is Terry Robiskie, the Offensive Coordinator for the Titans. Whoever gets the lion's share of the carries between Derrick Henry for A team has no name @boatsports90 and DeMarco Murray for Corn Cobb Pipe @mstodola91 may be the difference maker.

@Shenanigator vs @NiketheMutt
I am still baffled how each of these teams are not 2-0 as they each have some real talent at wide receiver and running back. Antonio Brown is expected to have huge day for @Shenanigator as the Steelers battle the Bears. Coming out of college, many were skeptical about the productivity from Leonard Fournette in the NFL, but he has been impressive this year averaging 17 points per contest for @Shenanigator. This week the Jaguars will get tested against the Ravens defense and Fournette may be held in check for @Shenanigator. While many were hyping Christian McCaffrey before, during, and the draft, others were slightly concerned and for good reason. The rookie for @NiketheMutt has been more explosive out of the backfield as a receiver rather than a pure running back and I am not entirely surprised at this. So far on the year, McCaffrey is averaging less than 3 yards per carry, but maybe he can get back on track against the Saints 24th ranked rushing defense. Nothing is ever out of the Question with Tom Brady at quarterback and @NiketheMutt may need another masterful performance from the surefire Hall of Famer. If @NiketheMutt can get great weeks from Adam Thielen and Martavis Bryant he might be able to pull the upset. Otherwise, look for @Shenanigator to walk away victorious.
