As soon as you walk over the rocks towards the edge of the Shiraito Falls plunge pool, water droplets spray over your skin and face. It’s really refreshing and gives a stunning perspective from the bottom compared to the top of the stairs. We hung out here for awhile, enjoy the falls that surrounded us from the front and right side with the trees enveloping above and over us.
What did I enjoy most? One was just sitting on the rocks and watching Shiraito no Taki. Whereas the view up high let’s you appreciate the rainforest look from above, the view at the foot of the pool just wraps around your peripheral vision. Nature has always been a blissful marvel whenever I travel and Shiraito Falls is no exception. I could honestly just stand in front and sit along the rocks until the sun sets. Can you imagine in the faint dark hearing the crashing sound of the water? It would be amazing.
