Hello community !

Ok, i know. That's Benedict Cumberbatch. But i just love that serie. Don't know what i'm talking about? Go check it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1475582/

1st movie- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0988045/
2nd movie- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1515091/

Let's start writting and stop spamming.

Who is Sherlock Holmes?

Well, i think he is that person that everyone would like to be, but anyone like them. Why? He just know things. Not so simple, he predict everything and knows what you had done just by looking what you. Might be a tiny pice of dust, the tan, a little hair on your jacket, or simply the position of object. I remember in one episode he just by looking to a room know that the person who lived there was hand lefted. And you ask, "HOW?", because of the position of the remote control, the mug that was on top of a table and the whole disposition of the objects.

It's to good to be true, sadly. Sherlock Holmes is a fictional private detective that was created by the great british author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Intitulates him self was a consulting detective, and you can see in the serie, when the cops don't have anyhere to go, they call Sherlock Holmes.

Holmes is famous for his prowess at using logic and astute observation to solve cases. He call this power of observation the cience of deduction ( stay tunned, i'll made a post about it).

Two famous phrases he uses are: "My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don't know." and "I'm not a psychopath, I'm a highly functioning sociopath"?, it this last one he just want to mean that he's not crazy, but a very intelligent misunderstood human being.

One important thing about Sherlock, he selects information. One known scene about Sherlock is when is talking to is great (and only) friend Dr. J. Watson and he doesn't know that the earth is sppining around the sun. His memory is like a computer and people usually tend to fill the computers memory with information that don't really need, Sherlock instead prefer to select the information that he really need.

But... This "super human" can't be ordinary, right?

Let's try to figure out and disorder he have.

Psychopathy - Is defined as a personality disorder, in wich the people who suffer from with are enable to feel empathy or have consciousness, they also have anti social behaviors.

One common symptom about a psychopath is the lack of guilt, was i said they are unable to feel empathy or have consciousness of whether they doing something good or bad, so when a psychopath does something that hurts another and feels no remorse about it.

Do you know someone that seems unreachable? Not alarming you but psychopaths keep away from others, particularly emotionally.

This are the main symptoms.

|---------- | ------------|------------- |------------ | ------------|------------- |------------ | ------------|------------- |------------ | ------------|--------|

Sociopathy- It's smilar to a psychopath, they also have a personality disorder. They also have anti social behavior, but the main difference i think they are in the behaviors.

A small example so i can explain my self.

A sociopath typically has a conscience, but it’s weak. Imagine this situation, in a rubbery a psychopath would do that without mercy or guilty, because it's like they have no consciousness, the sociopath instead know that what he's doing is wrong and may feel guilty about but he would do the rubbery in the same.

Some characteristics of sociopaths:

  • Superficial charm and good intelligence
  • Untruthfulness and insincerity
  • Lack of remorse and shame
    *Inadequately motivated antisocial behavior
    *Manipulative
*Pathologic egocentricity and incapacity for love

|---------- | ------------|------------- |------------ | ------------|------------- |------------ | ------------|------------- |------------ | ------------|--------|

Asperger Syndrome - It's characterized by difficulties in social interaction with others and non-verbal communication, restricted interests and repetitive behaviors.

Usually people who suffer from Asperger Syndrome can't make eye contact, and they repeat them selfs a lot, especially when it comes in subjects they are interest.
Almost forgot... They don't have many tipes of interest, they're restrict. People with Asperger syndrome see, hear and feel the world differently to other people, and this will prevail for the rest of their lifes, it was no cure, only some pills that can make you more "normal".

In 2013 Asperger Syndrome was considered a level 1 autism. Although they don't have any learning issue that many autistic people have. His intelligence is on a average level or above. Talking about his attention, they are in their world, they may seem to be on the moon, but they're lost on their world. Many times they say that the world feels overwhelming and this can cause them considerable anxiety.

All this 3 disorders are characterized by anti social aspects. They have lack os empathy, consciousness, and they live in their own world.
Attention, they can be agressive, but that doesn't mean they all are. Was i wrote was constantly remember about a movie, "The silence of the lambs", that is about a person named Hannibal Lecter that was created by the author Thomas Harris and have a mental disorder. The movie is protagonize by Anthony Hopkins and it's a great movie, i highly recommend.

So, if you know Sherlock Holmes wich one of this 3 personality disorder you think Sherlock have?

As always, thanks for the attention !

PS: Sorry if there is any mistake, i try my best to do the translation and the research.
