Feeling a bit tired and lazy, my neck also hurting a bit when I turn to the right from when I woke up.
Just thought I'd drop a quick post today mentioning how grateful I am for this community and what the thiungs blockchain enables.
I'll be forfeiting the post rewards of this post to help a project get some additional funding, as it's understandable with these markets its not easy to fund a project as ambitious and big as @holozing, thus I'll be sending my autovotes/and others towards it. (instead of accepting author rewards and buying vials which would technically also fund it)
Either way, I'd love to see more people forfeit author rewards if they're in a position they feel they don't need it or just generally would wanna help other projects/people out or if they don't really have the time that day to post something of high effort and quality such as this post.
Anyway, thanks to everyone here for all you do, especially those sticking to their morals and keeping curation the way it is meant to work. People and the chain will remember!

It was never 5K subscribers to be monetised on YouTube. It was always 1K subs and 4000 hours of watch time within a 365 day period. It’s been that way for the last 7 years.
I know this because when they brought his in, my initial YouTube channel was demonetised, I came over to DTube and started my Steem / Hive crypto journey.

It was early when I had just created the account it showed the initial numbers.
I find that difficult to believe, given that I have just told you the truth.
There are two tiers:
The first is 500 subs and 3000 hours of watch time, which opens up a few basic options.
The second is 1000 subs and 4000 hours of watch time, and this is when you can run ads on your videos.
Why would I lie about this? When I first started it was 3000 subs for memberships and 5000 for adrevenue, now it's 500 and 3000, there may even have been another step in between where it changed, not sure. The watchhours remained the same however.
Just to clarify, I wasn’t accusing you of lying, just stating the facts. It’s easy to misremember stuff (that’s how some magic tricks work).
The only change made recently was to the watch hours in the second tier temporarily and then they changed it back to what it had always been.

Weird, I could swear the subscriber requirements were higher when I first checked the monetization tab, let me check if I took any screenshots of it cause this is just annoying being sure it changed.
I mean I may be mistaked or may have confused it with the watch hours, but I'm pretty sure they changed it after I uploaded a few videos.
One of the things I love about this place and the wonderful network I have discovered is you don’t have to show up with a full-blown article every time. A quick update is a good change of pace and an easier way to connect with your peeps.
I like the idea of redirecting author rewards to projects you would like to support no matter how big or small your stake is. I might just use that as a small way to give back and hit my goal of daily posting.

Yeah as long as the intentions aren't to straight up farm author rewards with low effort content I don't mind seeing posts like these. Now obviously you can't just send beneficiaries to your alt and think it's the same, haha.

I'm still trying to keep up with X, I think I'm going to keep the premium there and try to monetize it somehow, although the criteria there are also a bit complicated for me, but it's good to challenge yourself sometimes.

Monetize on YouTube is really hard, on twitch it would be just simpler but I reckon you don't have time for that
Lol! I am too quite on a flue these days but I think that some purifications is happening due to the change of the season and some other stuffs that are occurring these days.
