RE: Steem at 80 Cents Today - "Where are we going" [WARNING: SHITPOST]

in #shitpost6 years ago

Good shitpost. You know, poo doesn't have to be a bad thing all the time. It can be a Happy Poo!

Okay, in all seriousness though, Ned's flagging spree was weird, maybe someone triggered him. SBD is doing all right, it's at its usual prices, before it went up. Steem, well, we know that Jerry Banfield powered down and left. So that will affect the price significantly and it will take a while for it to recover from that. I agree that everyone got scared from the HF20. I like how you call it a hardf*ck LOL Honestly, it's a big change and so it takes some adjusting. People who are more adaptable freaked out less. I only freaked out when I couldn't do anything due to the bug, and I thought I had been kicked off the platform lol But the HF20 itself doesn't freak me out. But I understand that such a major change will freak people out. Give it some time and everything will be fine again.

In honour of your shitpost, here's a happy Steem Poo Emoji. (I made it myself)

has Jerry Banfield left? news for me..
do you know why?
just hos wish, or maybe he knows a little nit more about Steemit future and BTC than all the rest...?

When I heard about it, he was powering down in order to cash out and leave the platform. He wanted to bring his followers to wherever he was going apparently. A lot of the sketchier things he had done were being talked about and there is speculation that he used the platform to create scams and when he was found out and started receiving a lot of downvotes, he left.

I don't know the full story. And he's still here. He still has SP, just less than before. Maybe he changed his mind mid-way, I don't know. All I know is he was in the process of "leaving" a couple months ago. So maybe it has changed since then. I know he powered down a lot, so it would have affected the price to some extent. His posts aren't making as much as they used to, by a lot.
