My mind can come up with some interesting thoughts from time to time but honestly, I can't even imagine what that must have been like. The story does paint a picture though and seeing it like that puts me in a silent mode. Something to think about.

Dad used to tell stories and until I was a little older and understood the whole picture from those days through my own historical research it didn't hit home. I have two more in that series which I will also feature on a Sunday.
