Hello, and welcome to my page, eh!
For this showcase Sunday, I'd like to bring you the video from a post that I did almost exactly 1 year ago. This is a video that I made for the open mic contest last January. This was for open mic #122. For this video, I did a cover of an old Ringo Starr song. The name of the song is "You're Sixteen". I uploaded this video to youtube on January 28, 2019. I played my Lanikai tenor ukulele for this video.
I'm not sure if a musician could get away with putting a song like this on the radio these days, but back when this song came out, the PC climate was different, it was perhaps a more innocent time.
Here's the link to the video on youtube. If the video doesn't play on this page, you can simply click through to youtube to watch it.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my post, eh!

All these showcase-sunday posts are a great idea I think...Keeps activity up and also gives us all a chance to see something we may have missed previously. Don't worry about the PC aspect...Just do your thing... :)
Thanks!
There are quite a few people on steem now that weren't here a year ago, so this would be the first time for them to see it. Also, this time of year, I just don't have as much stuff to post, so showcase Sunday does help with that also. :-)
Yes, I agree...Loads of new people and I think it's good for them to see all different types of posts which could help them workout what they want to do and where they want to pitch themselves.
Yes, that makes sense to me.
