Masks everywhere, especially on old people. Some coughing, some not. Still no cases in this city.
How will this trend change the already bizarre social landscape of this dystopian 21st century world that we live in? People interacting without ever seeing one another's mouths. The perfection of the "eye/nose" smile. The wide-spread adoption of the under-used and politically incorrectly named "eskimo kiss" . New choices: sex with condom but without mask? Or vice-versa? Teachers and students all wearing masks. Surgeons and nurses already wearing them, but the anesthetised patient also wearing one. The hullabaloo over scanners at security gates replaced by passengers complaining about showing their faces to customs agents. The rise of designer name brand masks and a whole new group of newly minted ultra wealthy who made their fortune in the mask and hand sanitizer business.
A brave and safe new world.
