How much of this move into metals do you think is attributed to China's new metal policies restricting silver exports and trying to move central bank sovereign gold storage from NYC/London to Shanghai?

I think the recent move to metals are the BRICS desperately trying to break free from USD world reserve currency.

Not sure in reality but I think a part of it is also the institutions trading the metals on paper are no longer willing to risk that much capital given the demand/supply concerns...

True. Did not even think to mention the overexposure of paper markets to being called without collateral. I only own Gold through a digital market like PaxG that is supposed to be collateralized 1:1 in London vaults. I don't have any paper gold/silver, only the real coins and physical jewelry.
