Would you choose between one or the other, or would you pick both?
Either way, you probably can't go wrong in the long run... The future of money may be digital and decentralized, however, silver will always remain a physical store of value as it has for 1000's of years; not to mention a growing number of other applications for the shiny metal such as: SunCell Technology, Windshields that wont frost over in the winter, Solar power, Medical use & Water purification, to name a few.
Cyrptocurrencies like Bitcoin (Monero, Litecoin, and countless others) are a different animal altogether and their continued growth of adoption by the mainstream society lays the foundation for serious demand from individuals wanting to be their own bank without restriction; and just as importantly maintaining a sense of financial privacy through a decentralized ledger.
With Bitcoin's deflationary model, decentralization and a limited number of coins to mine, a price of $900 is still a bargain relative to what it's capable of becoming.
Silver is also seen as a bargain at sub $20 prices (and IMO would still be a bargain if it were $100 per ounce - relative to what it's capable of becoming)- When SunCell's Brilliant Light Technology comes to the market with silver being the key ingredient, the overall consensus is that silver may be too valuable to waste as money (ref: Youtube -Cliff high Webbot Reports)... Therefore silver's alternative applications can truly make it a priceless form of wealth to pass down for generations to come.
Bitcoin (and Gold for that matter) on the other hand seems like something that will likely be needed day to day in the event of US dollar turmoil when one doesn't wish to spend something so precious as silver. Peer to peer bitcoin / blockchain transactions without the middle man (banks) is going to revolutionize currency as we know it. Since bitcoin goes down to several decimals, one does not even require a full coin to pay for goods or services (online or in person).
I think we live in an exciting time to manage our investment strategies for a better tomorrow and throughout the next decade I can't see silver or bitcoin being a bad move.
What are your thoughts on silver and bitcoin?
Both!
Its got to be more sensible to not go all in on any one thing plus more way fun to look at the markets of both.
i still cant figure out of Cliff High is a genius or a mad man. He is awesome tho! :-)
Nice article. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Investing in cryptos is still a risky thing. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results.
