Communities are starting to take off pretty good on Hive. I myself like the PeakD front end interface, (it was steampeak over there), busy, esteem and most of the other front ends are over here also now, or both places.
PeakD FAQ page, not fully completed, but contains a lot of information PeakD Specific.
@hiveio is kind of the primary whats going on development/HF wise.
