Penny

Hi friends,

I wanted to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition: a 1907 Indian Head Penny:

These are cool pennies and a piece of history. This particular one is pretty worn down, but still a fun item to hold. They generally sell for about $2 in this condition, and I think I paid a dollar at a local coin show.

Thanks for coming by,
Brian

From a time when a single penny could buy a hack of a lot more than we can today. If it didn't have any collection value it would at the very least it's worth $ 0.03 in copper melt value.

Believe it or not, on the other side of the Reset, you'll be able to buy One Pound of Copper for "less" than Five of our Copper Coated Zinc Pennies...

Not huge on copper but love the design !BBH

It is real old!

it's rare and it's very difficult to see what is printed on these coins.

That is nice and old. It shows the power of collectors and how demand can really affect the price of things. I wonder how much it will cost 100 years from now.

I paid 50 USD's for a One Cent Coin, about 10 years ago... It's a 1926-S "U.S. Penny" in Fantastic Condition... I figure I made a Great Buy...

Oh wow, the coin you bought is newer, but costs that much. These collector coins are really something else.

All your metal is always stunning. You get the most complete coins in it. That's why I have always been buying coins. And have been sharing with us. @brian.rrr

The coin looks a bit old though it is still appear to be stunning.

I’m sure this is an old coin but you’re very good at storing things
It looks so clean

The price you paid, is kind of like what I've been writing about the Reset... One Paper Dollar will get you a One Cent Coin...

While copper isn't something I usually stack, I do appreciate the history behind old coins. This one looks to be in good condition. Nice pick up, and thanks for sharing!

I love Indian head pennies! They were cool!

It is quite a few years old and has continued to collect its coins. The price of each coin piece is different but its benefits are many.

The older an item is, the more valuable it is.
