One way to avoid the sky-high premiums, on American Silver Dollar Eagles, is to acquire the mishandled items. With popular, ASEs, lugging around a $15 premium, one can save up to $10 per coin. These were going for $26.50 each.

As Stacker, I am happy to pay, $27, for a key-date, mishandled, 1996 ASE, as opposed to a $100, for a BU Beauty.

All Silver are so good to buy. Sometimes condition not too important, as it's worth the weight in silver !
Silver is silver. Don't think the scratch should matter much. Great one with the stacking
