Thanks for looking and commenting, @silverd510. Yes, the Standing Liberty Quarter & other old Silver Coins were still in circulation, in the late 1950s. Most were dateless & worn. It must have taken many trades to get so worn.

One of the problems with the design of both the Standing Liberty and the Buffalo nickel was the dates were the high point of the coin. That’s why many are dateless. Still a beautiful design.
