Silver Kilo to Fractional Silver 3-20-2022

How many vintage, US Silver Dollars, does it take to get a Kilo (32.15 Troy Ounces) of pure Silver?

Fresh from the US Mint, a vintage US Silver Dollar weighs in at 0.7734 Troy Ounce. Did you know that any combination, of Silver Half-Dollars, Quarter-Dollars, or Dimes, that equal one Dollar, weighs only 0.723 Troy Ounce? Go figure.

So it takes forty-two, Morgan or Peace, US Silver Dollars, to qualify as a Kilo, of pure Silver.

US Constitutional (90%) Silver Money, since 1964, is approaching 60 years old. It is still available, at Local Coin Shops, at a reasonable price. But, it is drying up fast.

With the many Trillions, of fiat Dollars chasing a few Billion Dollars, worth of Silver Dollars, I am surprised, that one of the thousands, of Billionaires, hasn't bought up all of it, already. Fiat paper for Physical Silver?

And you're a Zimbabwean Trillionare to boot!

Thanks for looking and commenting, @punkysdad. When I saw this Fifty Trillion Dollar Bill, I had to have it. They also had a Hundred Trillion Dollar Bill, but I couldn't afford it.

Metal pieces are better than fiat because its made components have value and price, while others are just papers that may be torn in my opinion. What do you think 🤔

Yes, I concur, Lifestories - @worldstories. Gold & Silver worked for millennia. Even Copper, Tin, Nickel has worked. Then a genius came along and realized that the World, was stupid enough, to think paper was just as good, and accepted it.

Stack on!

Thanks again, SILVER SAVER - @silversaver888. I learned it watching You and SilverGoldStackers - #silvergoldstackers.

I’m not a big fan of “junk silver”. I started out as a coin collector, so looking at a coin that’s completely worn looks horrible to me. I have a bunch of Morgans and Peace dollars aside from graded ones, that look like your pictures or better. But they aren’t junk or just silver either.

Thanks again for looking & commenting, @silverd510. I sometimes wonder how many times a coin changed hands, to get so worn down. Always had a value, of a loaf of bread. A low grade, 1916-D Mercury Dime, that changed hands thousands of times, before it got discovered and graded AG-3, with a today's value of hundreds of fiat, US Dollars. Not that I would pay that much, for ten cents, but would love to find one, in the LCS, junk box, for, today's $2.30, price.

You have lots of silver. The more the merrier so they say. You just can't get enough of silver coins. I have come to appreciate all silver, whether it's bars or coins !

Yes, I hear ya, @olympicdragon. Me, too.

That's one nice Chief Meskwaki. The other side has Iowa Rabbit. There is something unique about this series. Apart from the striking designs, I think it's the darkening shine, almost like black metallic !

Wow, beautiful... I have not seen that round,Sharing upvote sharing upvote

Stack those coins from the Native Americas Mint!!!
What a wonderful tribute to them, @cve3!

Alas, Freedom is becoming a rare commodity now a days.

This coin in my opinion stands out. Toning is superb like gold. I know there is other series, but this particular one I think there's eight in the collection. Owning all of it will be wonderful !

wow... keep them coming, @cve3!
