Today is a stormy mess of a day, tornadoes, thunder, lightning heavy rain and hail.
SoI treated myself to lunch round my local pub. Reuben sando and tomato soup, brilliant.
Today I have a Morgan dollar in the pocket.
Pretty sweet, but, it will likely get sent in for melt, none of my local suppliers will even consider buying "junk" or sterling, so I think Ill send all of my non pure silver to the refinery.
Kind of a shame, but this is the time we live in, I suppose.

There’s no way I’d send that Coin to the Smelter… Unless you need to pay a bill, I think you should hold on tight…
Its a foreign coin, so its pretty much melt value.
I’ve been thinking the old U.S. Silver Dollars will be given Special Deals from the United States Treasury… Ten Dollars in Silver Certificates, will have the Spending Power of 1,000 of todays Fiat Dollars… If you think accepting Melt Value now is better, you may want to give it a little more thought…

Its a bit of a shame, but it really has no collector value. A nice one that can be stabbed and graded, should be held on to, but this one is pretty much scrap, like my old sterling silverware. No one wants fine China and silverware anymore. I feel like a dinosaur...

Yeah refineries are so backed up that shops don’t want to touch it. Because they don’t get paid till final weight is tallied.
