That's why US dollar is so desirable across world. It's never been recalled and a bill from 150 years ago is still legal tender. Although it's worth a lot more to collectors and not wise spending it.
That doesn’t change the inflation and devaluation all fiat currencies have, but in terms of canceled bills, USA is only nation on earth to never do so in the 19/20/21st centuries. The way things going I wouldn’t be surprised if that changes in a few decades. But it’s why the dollar (literally cash dollars) is treated with such desire via black markets & standard markets across world.
