A few things are different, but for the most part, it stays the same.
Communities actually started on STEEM back in February before it all completely blew up, and while there's some fracturing going on, they're supposed to be the future rather than tags going forward.
That's not to say people aren't looking in the tags, though. It's just that some tags are now communities, and they probably prefer you post in the community rather than the tag.
So, basically, you can post in a community or not, and you can use multiple tags, or not.
I've been warming up to Peakd lately for posting, even though I prefer the hive.blog interface since they put the post creation window and the preview side by side, with scrolling ability on both. Really handy. But for some reason, some functions, like watching a video or posting isn't working on hive.blog in Chrome. Kind of annoying, but I haven't seen anyone complaining, so maybe I'm the only one using Chrome.

I'm glad things calmed down enough your world for you to make an appearance. Guess we'll see how much longer it is to the next TMWNN sighting. :)
