Can the Dutch clear the Suez Channel ? (It's done as planned and within budget)

Dear Hivers,

With 8 billion of goods passing the Suez channel every day the current blockade by a giant container ship is causing a lot of economic damage, delay and cause oil prices to go up.

But after trying with the local guys the Dutch are now flown in!

The ship Ever Given due to high winds ran into the shallow part of the channel and is stuck in the sand. You have read this. Maily Europe is heavily impacted.

The Dutch Firm Boskalis with its dredge and salvage unit Smit Tak is doing another attempt this weekend and if needed Monday to pull it loose. Calculations have been made and they need their own dredgers (more powerfull and underway from the Gulf) a sandhoppers and some oil taken out of the ship. That should do the job their calculations say. The bottom of the SUez can be sand and some clay which sucks more (it alls sucks of course).

So rest assured !

The Dutch have build their won land, got teh Kursk from he seabotto and built the Palm Island in Dubai and we will pull that ship out of the SUez without breaking it in two.

I have no doubt you’ll succeed 👊😎
I am doubtful, however, that this was a pure “accident.” Supply shortages are a great rise to raise prices...

oops.

Hmmmm....
