Afternoon everyone....
It’s a miserable day, we just found out that my uncle my mom’s brother was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Obviously she’s not taking it well, he is the only one left aside from her in the family. I’m trying to do my best with her and keep her as calm as possible.
While comforting her, I write this post with a beautiful and heavy chunk of silver.
This is a ten ounce bar produced by the Golden State Mint. It is appropriately named the Samurai bar. The detail is fantastic and it’s got a cameo look to it as well.

Have they determined stage and if it has metastasized? Is he well enough in other ways for any treatment?

Thanks Dfinn. My mom is horrible on asking questions, so I don’t know. They did several biopsies on his liver because there were spots on it as well. No results till the 14th.
He lost 30 pounds in a few weeks not eating thinking it was a stomach virus. They said he’s too weak for treatment at this time.
What’s worse is Monday is his 80th birthday.
That is a nice ten ouncer, pretty as hell! Sorry to hear about your uncle, stomach cancer is a rough one. Hopefully it hasn't spread and is more treatable.
It is. Yeah we are awaiting the results from the biopsies to see if it’s also in his liver.

Thanks Kerris. They did the biopsies, unfortunately the results won’t be in until the 14th. Stomach definitely liver possible. He lost too much weight so they won’t do any treatment till he is strong enough to handle it.
That is an awesome piece. I'm sorry about your uncle. Mine had a stroke a while ago and my mom took it really hard, so I kind of know how you are probably feeling.
