I’ve really been going through my stack lately. I’ve kinda lost my way on tracking over the last several years. My last entry into my spreadsheet is from December of 2019. So yeah I’ve slacked off quite a bit on logging my purchases since then.
I never stopped stacking. Was still stacking pretty strong through 2023. It’s really been slow since, I’m only picking up stuff I really like now, or see a chance for a really nice flip. The flipping buys are over with these prices on silver. It really doesn’t matter as long as it’s .999 silver it’s all treated the same now.
With the exception of poured silver….
Here’s where it starts to get tricky. Unless it’s a piece that people will fight over, poured silver is a bad buy right now. The premiums are stupid and you will most likely never get that return even on sites like eBay or instagram. So unless you plan on holding it forever, I’d say don’t buy it.
I just came across a huge box of hand poured silver from Ray Brockman. Some of you know him, some of you have heard of him and others are like who Is he….. well he was one of the OG Silvergoldstackers from the old Steemit days and he poured quite a bit.

I hear you, Pour silver has been crazy part of my stack but I'm still happy to have it even if sells for markedly under spot as unknown silver bullion. All the fun memories wherein.
I may have a Viking funeral and take it with me.
