Afternoon everyone….
This used to be one of my favorite holidays when my uncles were all alive. My uncle Vito made a feast of this day like no other day. This was the day he also unveiled his homemade wine from the summer harvest as well as all the dry aged meats that he cured.
Now it’s a very small get together with my mom and my girlfriend’s immediate family.
Don’t get me wrong it has been a nice day, but not what I miss.
