Afternoon everyone…..
Today is the second day of the incoming heatwave. While the temperature itself was bad topping out at a lovely ninety six degrees at three in the afternoon today. The real feel at three o’clock was one hundred and seven degrees.
We had a very quick thunderstorm around noon, but there are some bigger storms heading in around nine tonight. The wind is not supposed to be crazy tonight so hopefully we don’t lose power again.
As of md writing this post here is the current temperature and real feel.
I’m not looking forward to tomorrow….. the real feel is supposed to hit one hundred and twelve degrees…

As I'm getting older, the heat kicks me down. 100* can f right off. I like my house about 72* all year round, a bit colder in the winter.

Take it easy! I am guessing those are the same storms that knocked out our power for 14 hours. There is another band approaching now, so I expect they will be heading your way after that. Word on the street is next week is supposed to be beautiful weatherwise.
