Afternoon everyone….
A long long time ago, back on the other platform. I made a purchase from Mene. I’m talking January 14, 2019 to be exact. Well this package got misplaced some how and I had never found it.
Well until today that is….
As you all know I’m in the process of having a detached garage structure built on my property. This is going to be my wood shop.
My current shop is in the basement of the actual house and there is stuff stacked everywhere to make enough room to actually work.
I’ve been rummaging through stuff trying to determine if the item is moving into the new shop, I’m selling it, or it’s going to the trash.
In doing that, I came across three boxes that I had not opened yet. One of them was a box containing my missing Mene purchase. So today I was presently surprised by finding my gold charm that I had ordered over five years ago.
If you don’t know who or what Mene is. They are a Canadian company that produces jewelry in 24K gold and platinum. I believe their motto is wealth you can wear. They are still in business, but I couldn’t find the piece that I ordered from them on their website.
It’s a pirate skull charm that weighs 3.88 grams of pure gold. In melt value that’s roughly $280. They did have a regular skull charm that was slightly lighter at 3.12 grams which is selling for $412 currently. And similar weight charms were selling for $445 compatibly.
So my pirate skull is currently worth $445 in Mene pricing.
They really do an exceptional job packaging the items they sell.

I’m currently undecided if I’m going to keep it or try and sell it. Per their website it’s a $445 piece.
