We are back to normal April weather today. It was just over sixty degrees today and it rained the better part of the morning. It stayed overcast the entire day which made it dreary, but it stopped raining before noon.

Today I’m going to share a Benjamin Franklin half dollar. This coin has been graded by PCGS as an MS64. It’s a 1952-S, which means it was struck at the San Francisco Mint.

This one has tons of original mint luster and is in great condition. These older Franklin half dollars are harder to find in good condition with a nice strike.

Benjamin Franklin is the only founding father to sign all four key documents establishing the United States: the Declaration of Independence, the Treaty of Alliance with France, the Treaty of Paris, and the Constitution. Sometimes you don't have to be president to accomplish all that.
