Afternoon everyone ….
A beautiful kilo from a now debunked refiner. Republic Metals Corporation was a large scale refiner. I had heard they were going out of business so I bought up a bunch of their bars.

RMC Gold Bars Archives - Fisher Precious Metals Republic Metals Corporation (RMC) was a major precious metals refinery based in Miami, Florida, founded in 1980. It was known for refining gold, silver, and other precious metals into bars and rounds, and also offered services like assaying and trading. The company had a reputation for technological advancement and environmental responsibility, being the first U.S. refinery to achieve ISO 14001 certification. However, the company defaulted on its debt obligations in July 2018.
Services: RMC provided primary refining services for precious metals, including refining newly-mined gold and scrap metal. It also offered services such as diamond trading, risk management, and vaulting. Products: The company produced and sold a wide variety of gold and silver bullion products, including minted and cast bars in various sizes (e.g., 1 oz, 10 oz, 1 kg, 100 oz) and silver coins and rounds. Accreditations: RMC was a highly-regarded refiner, holding listings on major exchanges like the LBMA, COMEX, and SGE. It was also recognized for its business practices by organizations like the Responsible Jewellery Council and the Conflict Free Smelter Initiative.
