Making a living pouring silver is nearly impossible without a truly large investment. I can give you many examples of many places I’ve ordered from over the years that are no longer in business. MK Barz has hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of machinery. He technically isn’t hand poured. He pours blobs of silver and uses a hydraulic press to make the bar impression. Oh, and he charges over $40 an ounce for that.
Vulture Peak Mines went out, Shiny bars went out, Atlantis Mint who was fairly big went out. That’s just ones I can think of off the top of my head.
As a side hustle you can make a little bit, that is after you pay for all the supplies needed to pour.
