The only problem with the Peace dollars were they were well known for weak strikes. It hurts the detail even on mint state coins. You can barely read the Peace on the reverse.

I agree, the strikes were rather weak making the details not so clear. One of the reasons I have always preferred Morgans. The Peace is pretty weak!
